The Kids Zone offers lots of sporty activities over the course of the weekend. These activites are interspersed with our children's Duathlon (Run-Bike-Run races). We run three children's races per day to avoid clashes with the adult race.
The Active Kids Duathlon
Times, briefing and registration
Races start at 10.00,12.30 and 15.00 on both Saturday and Sunday. Race briefing takes place for all children 15 minutes before the start time. The kids are organised into age groups with the oldest going first.
You can register any time prior to race briefing. We recommend doing so early in the day to avoid a last minute rush.

"Just a quick note to thank you for organizing such an excellent Active Kids zone at the Blenheim Triathlon. My two boys loved the whole thing - they had been talking about Active Kids constantly since Richmond last year and you did not disappoint!! They spent about 4 hours going round and round the various activities, trying to improve their scores on each attempt and I struggled to get them to sit down for lunch or to support their Dad in his race, so I think I can safely say it was a huge success. I thought the duathlon races were very well and safely organized (I have been to other events where there were far too many kids participating and it is chaotic)."
