AKFC | Active Kids

We are delighted to announce the launch of our first competitive sports team for children, Active Kick Football Club (AKFC). Active Kids is about allowing children to enjoy sport in the way they wish to. For some that means a purely participatory experience and for others, a competitive experience is more meaningful. AKFC provides for the latter whilst uphoding our child-centred, inclusive ethos.

About AKFC

AKFC is an Under 10 football team for children in school year 4 and 5.
We compete in the Camden Regents Park league. All games are played at Regents Park on alternate Saturday mornings through the season.

To ensure that the experience is entirely positive for all concerned we have a very clear code of conduct which all players AND PARENTS are expected to adhere to.

Subscription for the season is £150. This includes:

League subscription fees
Playing kit
Tracksuit
Squad training at Active Kick, 09.30 to 12.00 every Saturday that there are no matches until the end of the season (Easter '10)

Our new team did extremely well during their first ever game. It was a very exciting game with the lead changing 3 times.

A very exciting game saw AKFC post their first ever win. The team defended very well to hold on to the two goal lead. Even more impressive is the the fact that over half the team are playing a year above their age group.
