We believe that children are happiest when engaged in meaningful, fun activites in a structured environment. School Plus is designed to be less formal than school but, in keeping with the school ethos, learning in its broadest sense is at its heart.
School Plus

We work closely with host schools to make sure the transition from school to School Plus is safe and smooth.
Each evening the group will take part in at least two activities and over a term all the locally advertised activities will be covered.
School Plus activities include:
- Active Kids physical activity and sport
- Study support focussing on literacy and numeracy
- Art
- Craft
- Performing Arts
- Photography and ICT (facility dependant)
What happens at School Plus after school?
A typical evening may look like this:
» 3.30 - 3.45 collection from class, circle time and registration
» 3.45 - 3.55 supervised break
» 3.55 - 4.40 activity 1
» 4.40 - 5.00 something to eat
»5.00 - 5.40 activity 2
» 5.40 - 6.00 group and individual reading (literacy) or numeracy or homework support
Our staff
As parents and teachers ourselves we know how important it is to have staff of the highest calibre to support the children in what can be a very demanding time of day.
All our staff are CRB checked, our key personnel are qualified in First Aid and have completed Active Kids training in physical activity and sport.
